Sunil Gavaskar believes this pacer should be in India’s Test and ODIs squads against England. Former India captain Sunil Gavaskar has named one pacer he wants to see selected for the one-off Test against England.
Sunil Gavaskar praise SunRisers Hyderabad pacer Umran Malik and argued. He should be included in India’s squad for the one-off Test as well as the ODI series in England. “Umran Malik’s speed has been very, very impressive. But it’s his accuracy that has impressed me the most,” Gavaskar said on Star Sports’ ‘Cricket Live.’

Sunil Gavaskar believes: “A lot of guys bowling at that speed spray the ball around, but Umran bowls very few wide deliveries.”
“If he can control the wides down the leg side. He will be a tremendous bowler because that will mean he’ll be attacking the stumps all the time, and with his pace, it’s not easy to hit straight,” Gavaskar further said.
“If he bowls wicket-to-wicket, he will be pretty much an unplayable bowler,” the former India captain claimed.
“He’s going to play for India,” he predicted, adding, “He should be in that Indian squad for the one-off Test and the one-day international series against England.”
The one-off Test between India and England, which will serve as the fifth Test of the series that was left unfinished last year, will begin on July 1. Before the fifth and final match canceled due to a Covid outbreak in the visitors’ camp, India led the series 2-1.
