On the work front, Warner’s team Australia defeated Zimbabwe by eight wickets in the second One-Day International (ODI) in Townsville on Tuesday, completing the series 2-0 with one match remaining.

Zimbabwe’s slim hopes of a miraculous victory were revived in the third over when quick Richard Ngarava bowled openers Warner and Aaron Finch, leaving Australia reeling at 16 for 2. However, an aggressive Steve Smith (47 not out) and Alex Carey (26 not out) counterattacked as Australia won the series. Australia had earlier won the first ODI by a comfortable five-wicket margin in Townsville.
