Corey Anderson finds place in USA’s T20 World Cup squad. Unfortunately, Unmukt Chand has been removed from the team.
Former New Zealand cricketer Corey Anderson name to the USA roster for the 2024 T20 World Cup. He represented New Zealand in the ODI World Cup in 2015 and the T20 World Cup in 2014 and 2016. The United States of America and the West Indies are co-hosting the competition. Anderson has been name to the USA team’s 15-player roster. In addition to him, Ali Khan, who has not played a T20I since July 2022, has been named in the squad. Shayan Jahangir also brought in.
Two players, Gajanand Singh and Usman Rafiq, added to the team for forthcoming games. The team that defeat Canada 4-0 in a five-match T20I series in April will be mostly unchange. Monank Patel and Aaron Jones have retained their places as captain and vice-captain, respectively. In the previous series, Gajanand scored just one run in two games, while Rafiq conceded 24 runs in two overs in his sole game.

Unmukt Chand snubbed from USA squad for T20 World Cup
Unmukt Chand, the former captain of India’s Under-19 cricket team, not select for the April T20I series against Canada. This absence from the roster cast doubt on his hopes of making it to the T20 World Cup. Unfortunately, Chand removed from the team. He had earlier express his dissatisfaction at being left out of the Canada series and advocate for a change.
