With Australia and England slugging it out on the field, Rob’s proposal to Nat was sure to put a smile on both sets of fans’ lips.

During the continuing first Ashes Test in Brisbane, Rob, an England cricket fan, proposed to his Australian girlfriend, Nat, in front of a raucous crowd.

On the third day of the current first Test at the Gabba. Rob proposed to his Australian girlfriend Nat during the morning session. Rob, who first saw Nat during the 2017-18 Ashes in Australia. Diverted his girlfriend’s attention by pointing at themselves on the large screen before bringing out the ring and kneeling.

To Nat’s astonishment, Rob said, “I’m going to keep this short and sweet.”

“It’s been four years,” says the narrator. Will you be my wife?

As England fans erupted in cheers inside the stadium, Nat nodded before the couple sealed the deal with a kiss.

“It came as a complete surprise. I’m still shocked from the revelation “At the Gabba on Friday, Nat told 7 Cricket.

When asked about their initial encounter, Rob replied, ” “At the cricket, I met her (game). We first met four years ago at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.”

Rob’s proposal to Nat surely put a smile on both sets of supporters’ faces as the arch-rivals battled it out on the field.

In terms of the contest, Australia is now in command, having gained a big 278-run lead in the first innings.

The hosts went on to register a total of 425 after bowling England out for 147 in the first innings, thanks to Travis Head’s maiden Ashes century (152).

England are currently two wickets down in the second innings, trailing Australia by more than runs. With undefeated half-centuries, Dawid Malan and Joe Root have steadied their ship.

During the second session of Day three, the visitors lost both openers, Haseeb Hameed and Rory Burns.
