IND vs. NZ, 2nd T20I: India looks to keep their winning combination.

IND vs NZ , 2nd T20I: India looks to keep their winning combination.- Following a shaky win in Jaipur, Rohit Sharma’s side will seek to keep the same playing XI in Ranchi on Friday in attempt to take a 2-0 lead.

With a five-wicket triumph over New Zealand in the T20I series opener in Jaipur, India bounced back from their recent T20 World Cup 2021 setback.

The new-look Indian team, led by Rohit Sharma. Delivered Rahul Dravid his first win as the new head coach of the senior team. The think tank, on the other hand, won’t be celebrating too much because they were too late to beat the visitors’ 165-run objective.

IND vs NZ – For the second match, the team management can look to go in with the same combination and clinch the series before making any changes to the playing XI before the final game.

IND vs. NZ playing XI

KL Rahul: The newly appointed T20I vice-captain. Will be looking to improve on his dismal performance in the first encounter. In which he scored only 15 runs off 14 deliveries.

Rohit Sharma: The captain took the initiative and displayed a variety of smashes before succumbing to a personal score of 48 runs. The victory as the team’s leader will boost Rohit’s confidence for the remaining games.

Suryakumar Yadav: Suryakumar came out with a positive attitude and gave the bowlers nothing during his superb innings of 62 runs with a strike rate of above 150.

Rishabh Pant: Wicket-keeper batsman Pant demonstrated tremendous application and played the situation superbly.

Shreyas Iyer: After being left out of India’s T20 World Cup squad in the UAE and Oman. Shreyas Iyer’s return to the team proved to be a forgettable one.

Venkatesh Iyer: Venkatesh Iyer, an all-rounder, didn’t have a chance to bowl in his international debut, but he did start his batting career with a fantastic four.

Axar Patel: After going wicketless in the first encounter. Axar will seek to get back into the game in Ranchi. During India’s chase, he let up 31 runs off four overs despite facing only one ball.

Ravichandran Ashwin: Ashwin came late to the wicket-taking party. His two wickets aided in the reduction of New Zealand’s run pace.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar: He appeared to be in complete control as he swung the ball both ways to take two wickets for six runs per over.

Deepak Chahar: After conceding more than 40 runs in the first encounter, Chahar will attempt to improve his economy rate. He threw the ball in the right spots, but he frequently lost control of his line and handed the New Zealand batsmen several bad pitches.

Mohammed Siraj:  Siraj seems to be returning from a hiatus following the Indian Premier League. And should be expected to continue to improve in the series’ remaining games. In four overs, he gave up 39 runs and took one wicket.
