Suryakumar Yadav in an Interview

“I remember when I made my batting debut against England, he [Virat Kohli] was the one who sacrificed his position and let me bat at No. 3 while he batted at No. 4.”

It was exactly the same. He asked if I wanted to come in so I could gain some World Cup game experience. Suryakumar commented in the post-match press conference. “It was extremely sweet of him, and I liked coming back not out in that game.”

The stylish batter claimed that he doesn’t have a favorite position to bat in and is comfortable changing to the club’s needs while also loving the format in which he represents the organization.

“I am content with the fact that I can bat in any position. It was nothing new for me because I had been batting at No. 3 for my franchise (in the IPL) for the previous three years. I don’t make an effort to be distinctive. I just try to be myself and enjoy the format “Yadav explained.
