New Zealand will trip India: Trent Boult, New Zealand’s pace spearhead, and all-rounder Colin de Grandhomme will miss the Test series against India.
Because senior bowler Trent Boult has withdrawn from the two-Test series with bio-bubble fatigue. New Zealand picked five spinners in its 15-man squad for the India tour, which begins November 25 in Kanpur.

Gary Stead, the Black Caps’ head coach, stated that the players’ well-being is still vital.
“This year, Trent has already spent the better part of 60 days in hard-managed seclusion, while. Colin has been on the road since May and just returned from Pakistan.
“After speaking with both players, it seemed evident that the best option for them was to be left out of this. Test trip and instead focus on preparing for the New Zealand home summer,” Stead said.
New Zealand will trip India: The Blackcaps will take five spinners, including Ajaz Patel, Will Somerville, and Mitchell Santner, who have all played for New Zealand. Rachin Ravindra and Glenn Phillips, two young players, will assist them.
Because the conditions in the series opener (Kanpur, November 25-29) and the second Test (Mumbai, December 3-7) are projected to favor the slower bowlers, the spin-heavy assault makes sense.
With the traditional Test top five and Will Young filling the batting spots, the rest of the squad feels familiar. The pace alternatives are Tim Southee, Neil Wagner, and Kyle Jamieson.
