“Ab 200 Kiya Hai To”: Ishan Kishan Astounds Reporters With His Selection Question Response. In the press conference following the completion of the third ODI against Bangladesh, Ishan Kishan stunned reporters with some cheeky replies to queries.

Ishan Kishan of India made history by batting 210 off 131 balls in the third and final ODI against Bangladesh. Ishan received a lot of credit for his outstanding batting performance, which helped India win by 227 runs. After the game, Ishan was questioned if his knock guaranteed him a berth in India’s ODI lineup for the next matches. The southpaw responded with a witty retort, and the entire press room burst out laughing.

“I don’t know, I don’t think these things,”

In answer to a journalist’s inquiry on securing a berth in India’s ODI team, Ishan said.

“All I can do is perform when I get a chance. I don’t want to talk. I want to let my bat do the talking. Whether there is a place for me or not”

Kishan finished his response on a lighthearted note, implying that because he had reached a double hundred, he had perhaps cemented his place in the process.

“Ab 200 kiya hai to kya pata.. (Now I’ve scored a double century so who knows…),”

Before bursting out laughing, he said.

Ishan was also quizzed about his batting position at the news conference. Though the left-hander typically begins the batting, he stated that as a young player, he cannot request that he play in a certain position.

“Batting position, I think, other players also come through having batted at different positions. So being a young player, I can’t complain and demand that you must bat me at this particular position,”

Kishan stated.

“At this level, it’s about making use of the opportunities that are provided to you. That’s how big players are made.”
