India’s bowler and senior member of the team Mohammed Shami ruled out. Allegedly of the next ODI series against Bangladesh due to a hand injury. If he does not recover in time, he may miss the two-match Test series that is scheduled following the three white-ball games. The opening ODI of the series is set to take place on December 4, Sunday.
The 32-year-old veteran pacer is an important element of the Indian ODI squad, especially as the team prepares for the ODI World Cup, which will be held in India next year. Despite having a number of pace-bowling options in the white-ball lineup, India will have a significant test in the Test series.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma and coach Rahul Dravid would be hoping that Shami recovers quickly and returns to the game, particularly for the Test matches. With Jasprit Bumrah out of the international squad due to injury and Ravindra Jadeja ruled out, India cannot afford to lose another member.
The hosts will have the edge in the games in Bangladesh, and India will require Shami’s red-ball expertise to deal with the tough opposition. Shami has 216 wickets in 60 Test matches, which says much about his skill with the ball.
