Dasun Shanaka will captain Sri Lanka in the upcoming Asia Cup 2022. After the country announced an 18-man squad for the tournament. Sri Lanka last played a T20I series against Australia in June. Losing 1-2 but winning a historic ODI series against the men in yellow. The Island nation will kick off its campaign against Afghanistan on August 27th at the Dubai International Stadium in Group B matches. Group A will consist of India, Pakistan, and one more country determined by qualifiers.
