The tournament format will divide the 20 teams into four groups of five

The top two teams from each group will advance to the Super Eight round. Where they will face off in two groups of four. The top two teams from each Super Eight group will then continue to the semi-finals, culminating in the final.

Uganda’s T20 World Cup campaign will begin in Guyana and Trinidad. Where they will face tough competition from Afghanistan, Papua New Guinea, the West Indies, and New Zealand. Their first match against Afghanistan on June 3 sets the tone for what looks to be an exciting campaign.
