Krunal Pandya reveals conversation with Mayank Yadav after injury scare in Lucknow

Krunal Pandya reveals conversation with Mayank Yadav after injury scare in Lucknow. “I don’t know what is happening but I did have a brief couple of seconds’ chat – he seemed okay, which was quite a relief for us,” Pandya said.

Lucknow Super Giants recently defeated Gujarat Titans at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. On Sunday, April 7, both sides faced off in the 21st game of the IPL 2024. And while Lucknow won, there were other concerns for the team.

Mayank Yadav, the star pacer, walked off the field after bowling only one over against the Gujarat Titans. It is worth mentioning that the youngster’s pace appeared to be slowing before leaving the field, and he was struck for three boundaries as well.

In Yadav’s absence, all-rounder Krunal Pandya led Lucknow Super Giants to a convincing victory. Furthermore, after the game, Krunal came forth to discuss his conversation with Mayank Yadav, stating that it was not serious and that the child should be fine.

“I don’t know what’s going on, but I had a brief couple of seconds’ chat with him and he seemed fine, which was a relief for us,” Krunal Pandya was cited as saying by ESPNcricinfo.

“I’d been keeping an eye on him for the past two years because he was a promising prospect. He used to bowl gun in the nets, but was unable to do so last year due to an injury. But, in every conversation I’ve had with him, I’ve noticed that he also has a good head on his shoulders,” he added.
