During the recently concluded England series, Nasser Hussain praised Rohit’s leadership and batsmanship. Despite a setback in the first game in Hyderabad, the Indian team rallied to secure a 4-1 win.

“I believe some people mistake Rohit for a laid-back cricketer who simply lets the game flow. His batting displays a high level of skill, thought, and brilliance. And I thought he had a great series as captain. “He said in the press conference that he had to learn and adapt his captaincy style at times,” Nasser told Sky Sports.

Hussain contrasted Rohit’s laid-back approach with Kohli’s aggressive style. “Don’t confuse (Rohit) with Virat’s captaincy because he came on the heels of Virat Kohli. In your face, aggressive captain. In the Lord’s huddle, saying, “Let us unleash hell on England’s batting lineup.” Rohit is not the same type of person. “He has that fire burning within him,” he explained.
