Prime Sports’ owner, Paramjit Singh, reacts to MS Dhoni’s heartwarming gesture. MS Dhoni is promoting his old friend Paramjit Singh’s shop ahead of the IPL 2024.

Former India captain MS Dhoni is an example to millions of young cricketers throughout the country who dare to dream big despite coming from tiny villages. The 42-year-old is nearing the end of his career and is appreciating his loved ones for their contributions in his own unique way. Recently, the wicketkeeper batter seen using a bat with a sticker from his old pal Paramjit Singh’s shop, ‘Prime Sports’.

Notably, Paramjit Singh assisted Dhoni in obtaining a sponsorship early in his career, and in order to honor his friend, Dhoni is advertising his store by displaying his sticker on his bat during practice sessions leading up to the IPL 2024. Paramjit recently responded to Dhoni’s gesture by saying that he’s always been there for

“I am very proud of him. He’s always been there for us. And this is our friendship. Aaj Tak reported Paramjit Singh as saying, “Friendship is number one. ” He also revealed that Dhoni gave him an autographed bat with the inscription, “Best wishes, Chhotu Bhaiya.”

Adam Gilchrist, a legendary Australian wicketkeeper batter, had commented on Dhoni wearing his friend’s sports shop sticker earlier.

“I watched MS Dhoni hitting some balls in the nets. There’s a new bat sticker on his bat. A neighborhood sports store owned by one of his schoolmates. “Whack the company name on your bat just to boost sales,” observed the commentator.

Dhoni is seen in his previous appearance ahead of the IPL 2024. His hair has grown back to the length it had in his early days of international cricket. The forthcoming IPL edition is believe to be the final for the ‘Captain Cool. Who assured his followers that he would return for another after the IPL 2023 final.

MS Dhoni led CSK to their fifth title in 2023

The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain became the league’s joint-most successful skipper after leading CSK to their fifth title, defeating Gujarat Titans in the final. Dhoni battle a knee ailment throughout the season and was seen at his vintage best as he attack the bowlers from the start.

In the 2023 edition, he scored 104 runs in 12 innings, hitting three fours and ten massive sixes with a strike rate of 182.45. The Ranchi-born batsman will be looking to win another title in the upcoming season and say goodbye to the league in style.
