Jasprit Bumrah is the world’s best bowler: Ollie Robinson

Jasprit Bumrah is the world’s best bowler: Ollie Robinson. Jasprit Bumrah has taken 15 wickets in the first two Tests against England.

Ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah has performed admirably in the first two Tests against England. The 30-year-old has 15 wickets, making him the series’ highest wicket-taker. Notably, the conditions were not favorable for pacers in Hyderabad and Visakhapatnam. The player demonstrated his value by making substantial contributions to the team.

England pacer Ollie Robinson referred to him as the ‘greatest bowler in the world’ after praising his consistency and talent. Notably, in the second Test of the five-match series, Bumrah delivered an unplayable yorker to Ollie Pope, which impressed Robinson much. The England seamer disclosed that he spoke with James Anderson after the Visakhapatnam Test. Stated that it was quite remarkable to see him bowl so brilliantly in these circumstances.

“Jasprit Bumrah has been insanely good. Wisden paraphrased Robinson as saying, “I must have remarked, ‘This bloke’s the best bowler in the world,’ ten times in Vizag.

“The way he got Popey out, I thought, ‘Oh my, this guy’s a joke.'” And then he took Foakesy out with a slower ball, and I was like, “Oh my goodness, can this guy get any better?” You watch him and say, ‘Wow, he’s good.’ And as a bowler, Jimmy and I were talking about it after the last game, and seeing him ply his trade in India is extremely great because we’re always wanting to put on a performance like that in these conditions,” the Kent-born pacer said.

Hopefully I’ll get my chance at some point: Robinson

Ollie Robinson, an England pacer, also praised Jasprit Bumrah as an excellent bowler and stated that he is learning how to bowl in these circumstances from the Ahmedabad native. Meanwhile, Robinson has yet to participate in the ongoing Test series, as Mark Wood and James Anderson have been selected ahead of him thus far. However, the pacer stated that he is prepared and hopes to receive an opportunity soon.

“I’m raring to go if Ben knocks on my door and says I’m in for the next Test,” he told reporters. “I’ve been training harder than ever. “Hopefully, I’ll get my chance at some point,” Robinson said.
