The Bangladesh Under-19 cricket team won their first ACC Under-19 Asia Cup title on Sunday, December 17. With a convincing 195-run victory over the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at the Dubai International Stadium.

After winning the toss and electing to bat first. The UAE faced a stiff test as Bangladesh opener Ashiqur Rahman Shibli performed a fantastic effort, scoring a stunning century. Shibli’s 129-run innings from 149 deliveries, which included 12 boundaries and a maximum. Propelled Bangladesh to a dominant total of 282-8 in their allotted 50 overs.
