According to these advisories, betting and gambling are illegal activities. So any direct or indirect promotion of these activities on media platforms violates a number of laws. Including the Consumer Protection Act of 2019 and the Press Council Act of 1978, among others.
Failure to follow this advice could result in the government taking the proper legal action, according to the alert.
