Yuzvendra Chahal posts cryptic story post team India snub for Asia Cup 2023. In recent years, Chahal has consistently played for Team India in limited-overs cricket.
India’s roster for the Asia Cup 2023 unveiled by BCCI Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar on Monday, August 21. The 17-member roster included KL Rahul and Shreyas Iyer, two players who returned to the team after overcoming their individual injuries. The team’s wrist spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who has been a fixture for the past four years, was one unexpect exclusion.
Many people were shock by Chahal’s absence because hes a consistent squad member for the previous five years. The 33-year-old sent a mysterious remark on his social media account in response to his rejection. Chahal posted a pair of emojis that included a secret message. The sun depicted in the first emoji as it move behind clouds. While it was fully up in the second without any clouds in its vicinity.
Similar to Rohit Sharma, the current captain of India, who tweeted in 2018. It appears that the batsman intended to convey that “The sun will rise again soon. ” Notably, after being cut from the Test team, Rohit tweet the same thing.
Here’s Chahal’s Tweet:
IPL 2023 saw Yuzevndra Chahal have a stellar season, taking 21 wickets from 14 innings with an average of 20.57 and an economy of 8.17. With 187 wickets to his name, his spectacular performance even catapulted him to the top of the list of the highest wicket takers in IPL history.
Kuldeep is currently a little ahead of Chahal: Ajit Agarkar
Since 2021, the 33-year-old has even performed well in one-day internationals, averaging just over 26 with the ball and taking 29 wickets from 18 games. He lost favor, though, when Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel were given the green light before him. In the news conference, Chief Selector Agarkar made the same statement.
“Axar Patel has accomplished a lot. He can also bat. Kuldeep Yadav has had a remarkable career thus far. So, something had to be miss. Chahal is currently slightly behind Kuldeep, Agarkar remark during the news conference.
