Kurtis Patterson is removed as captain of New South Wales after a disappointing Sheffield Shield campaign. With five draws and as many losses throughout the domestic season, the Patterson led NSW ended their dismal season with a wooden spoon.

he added.
The 30 year old Southpaw had a terrible season’s finale with the bat, scoring only 417 runs in 16 innings at a pitiful average of 29.78.
