Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have been dealt another major setback with the injury of bowler Sisanda Magala, as confirm by head coach Stephen Fleming. In terms of the present IPL, it is expect that the player would be out of action for at least two weeks.
Kyle Jamieson, Mukesh Choudhary, Deepak Chahar, and Ben Stokes have all been injured for CSK. Magala bowled only two overs before departing the field. Owing to a fractured webbing during the match against Rajasthan Royals on Wednesday, April 12 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
“We’ve lost another player – that’s two games in a row – and we’re already pretty thin, so we’d like it [injuries] to stop.” Unfortunately, Magala’s hand was split, therefore he was unable to bowl the final two overs. And Deepak Chahar did the same in the last game, so we’re working with little resources. But we’re not the only squad with that,” acknowledged Fleming after the game, according to ESPNcricinfo.
Medical personnel have yet to confirm the degree of the injuries
