KL Rahul ended his bad run of form by smashing 50 runs off 32 balls against Bangladesh in the T20 World Cup 2022 opener on Wednesday. Rahul began slowly, but when he got into his stride, the Bangladesh bowlers found it tough to control him. Rahul hit six fours and four sixes during his time on the crease. During Rahul’s tenure on the crease, he blasted some amazing sixes, but one in particular left non-striker Virat Kohli speechless.
Rahul has not done much with the bat prior to the match against Bangladesh. The International Cricket Council, on the other hand, promoted videos of his strikes on social media.

Rahul scored 16 runs off three balls in the ninth over of his play against Shoriful Islam, smacking two sixes and one four. Rahul return to the pavilion after being remove by Shakib Al Hasan in the following over.
Rahul had yet to reach double digits in any of his previous contests. Rahul scored four goals against Pakistan, nine against the Netherlands, and nine against South Africa. Another defeat in the encounter against the Bangla Tigers may have placed a huge strain on his place in the team.
Kohli, however, maintained his dominant form in the competition, smashing another half-century. The seasoned hitter has already scored two half-centuries in the competition, against Pakistan and the Netherlands.
Kohli was unable to form a solid partnership with anyone after Rahul’s departure. Wickets continued to fall at regular intervals at the opposite end of the pitch. As India lost speed in the dying overs, the likes of Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik, and Axar Patel all left early.
