While doing so, Chantham amassed a great half-century, but she kept running out of partners. Chantham put in a heroic effort but was eventually bowl out for 61 off 51 balls in the 19th over.

Prior to being fired, she had managed to lower the necessary rate, and Thailand just needed 10 runs off the final over to win the match. With one ball remaining, Rosenon Kanoh scored a valuable boundary and led her team to victory with an undefeated nine-run effort. Her team won by four wickets.
