Smriti Mandhana is closing up on the top T20I batter position. Mandhana scored 111 runs for the squad throughout the three-match series. Propelling the 26-year-old to second overall on the current T20I batters list.

Australia’s dominance on the top of the ICC Women’s Player Rankings for T20I hitters is under threat. After an India star made her move in the most recent update, which was announced by the ICC on Tuesday.

For a long time, experienced Australian combo Beth Mooney and Meg Lanning owned the top two rankings. India opener and newly-announce ICC 100% Cricket Superstar Smriti Mandhana has split the pair following her brilliant recent series against England.

Mandhana scored 111 runs for the squad throughout the three-match series. Propelling the 26-year-old to second overall on the current T20I batters list.

Mooney continues to lead the list with 743 rating points. While Mandhana has closed to within 12 points with 731 rating points following the latest rankings update.

Lanning (725) falls to third as a result of Mandhana’s unexpected ascent. While New Zealand’s Sophie Devine (715) also falls to the in-form Indian batter.

Mandhana makes an eye-catching leap in the ODI batter rankings after a strong start to the present three-game ODI series against England.

The left-hander hammered a brilliant 91 in India’s seven-wicket victory in the series opener in Hove. He was rewarded by jumping three places to sixth overall on the batters list.

Harmanpreet Kaur (up four places to ninth) and Yastika Bhatia (up eight ranks to 37th) are two of her teammates who make significant progress after half-centuries in the match.

England pacer Kate Cross took two wickets in the game and rises up three ranks to tenth overall on the list of ODI bowlers. While teammate Charlotte Dean moves up four spots to twentyth.

As a consequence of her two-wicket haul in that same game, India spinner Deepti Sharma moves up six positions to 12th in the ODI bowling rankings.

Nat Sciver of England chose to forego the India series in order to focus on her mental health and welfare, and as a result, the 30-year-old has lost her top spot on the ODI all-rounders list to Australia veteran Ellyse Perry.
