After leading India to victories in the T20I and ODI series against England, Rohit Sharma is taking a break as the team prepares for a three-match ODI series against the West Indies.

Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah have both been rested for the series.

Rohit is expected to return when India and the West Indies play five T20 Internationals following the ODIs.

Meanwhile, Yuvraj Singh hinted that he had a lengthy conversation with India’s Rishabh Pant during his struggles in the limited-overs formats.

Yuvraj had tweeted following Pant’s match-winning century in the third and final ODI:

“Looks like the 45 minute conversation made sense!! Well played @RishabhPant17 that’s how you pace your ininings.”

Pant, replying to his tweet, wrote “It did, indeed”.
