Yasir Shah of Pakistan bowled a peach of a delivery to Sri Lanka batter Kusal Mendis on Monday. The spinner pitched the ball outside leg stump to Mendis. In the ongoing first Test match between Pakistan and SriLanka at Galle International Stadium, and the ball turned from there to hit the off stump. Yasir’s delivery reminiscent of the “Ball of the Century” bowled by Australia’s legendary leg-spinner, Shane Warne, in the early 1990s.
It’s worth noting that Warne bowled England batter Mike Gatting a sharp leg-spinner at Old Trafford in 1993. The performance is also known as the “Ball of the Century.” Fans remind of Warne’s famous dismissal by Yasir Shah’s delivery to Mendis.

In the ongoing first Test match between Sri Lanka and Pakistan, the hosts were bundle out for 222 runs after captain Dimuth Karunaratne chose to bat first. Dinesh Chandimal led the team in scoring with a 76-run knock. Shaheen Shah Afridi took four wickets for Pakistan.
Sri Lanka reduce Pakistan to 148/9 in the second innings before Babar Azam’s 119 helped Pakistan reach 218 before being bowl out. SL best bowler was Prabath Jayasuriya, who finished with 5/82.
Sri Lanka tightened their grip in the third innings, extending their lead to over 280 runs at the time of writing, thanks to Oshada Fernando’s 64 and Kusal Mendis’ 76.
