Including Pakistan, regarding the possibility of international fixture clashes.” “In the latter part of September, Pakistan will host England for seven T20 Internationals,” a source told The News.
“If the Asia Cup is held on the new dates of August 24 and September 7. It would be ideal from Pakistan’s perspective because the team would be back home in time for the start of the T20 series against England,” the source added.
To be sure, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has secured the hosting rights for the 2023 Asia Cup, and six teams will compete in the event. Meanwhile, the Men in Green have a busy schedule until the 2022 T20 World Cup, with matches against the West Indies, Netherlands, and England.
