Virat Kohli Sets A Beautiful Boundary, And Sourav Ganguly’s Reaction Is Priceless

Virat Kohli Sets A Beautiful Boundary, And Sourav Ganguly’s Reaction Is Priceless. During RCB’s Eliminator win over LSG, Virat Kohli played a delectable flick shot that impressed Sourav Ganguly and Jay Shah.

Sourav Ganguly, the president of India’s Board of Control for Cricket, was a happy spectator at the Eden Gardens for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 Eliminator between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Both teams contributed to a high-scoring thriller in front of a raucous Kolkata crowd, with Faf du Plessis’ side eventually advancing to Qualifier 2 with a 14-run win. There was some brilliant bowling and delectable strokes on display, and one shot in particular seemed to have caught Ganguly’s eye during RCB’s innings.

Kohli showed off his wrists when faced with the first ball of the second over, bowled by Dushmantha Chameera, flicking an overpitched delivery to the right of mid-on for a boundary.

The ball was full and on his pads, and he is one of the best in the business at putting deliveries like that away, and he made no mistakes this time, despite his opening partner du Plessis falling in the previous over.

Both Ganguly and BCCI secretary Jay Shah appeared impressed.

Ganguly’s reaction in particular drew widespread attention, with several Twitter users sharing screenshots of his expression.

Kohli went on to score 25 off 24 balls, but RCB were propelled forward by Rajat Patidar’s incredible century.

The RCB No.3 smashed an unbeaten 112 off 54 balls, reaching his century in the fastest time of the season.

Dinesh Karthik also batted well at the end, scoring 37* off 23 balls.

Their late-game efforts helped RCB reach 207/4 in 20 overs.

A 96-run stand between KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda threatened to spoil the party for RCB, but brilliant bowling at the death by Harshal Patel and Josh Hazlewood limited LSG to 193/6, setting up a Qualifier 2 clash against Rajasthan Royals.
