As a result, it’s no surprise that the team chose these two stars to be the first two inductees into their Hall Of Fame. The franchise’s official Twitter account shared a video on Twitter. In which Mike Hesson, Director of Cricket, and former skipper Virat Kohli induct the batting greats into the Hall of Fame.

Gayle scored 733 runs in 14 games for RCB during the 2012 season.
Speaking of de Villiers, the right-handed batter was a fan favorite from the start of his time. The Royal Challengers Bangalore and went on to form a formidable partnership with Kohli. The former Proteas captain was a crucial player for RCB over the years, frequently rescuing them from difficult situations.
Virat Kohli paid tribute to de Villiers in an official statement posted on their websit. ” With his innovation, brilliance, and sportsmanship. AB de Villiers virtually joined the induction, Delivered an emotional message to everyone in the RCB camp.
“What an incredible privilege for the RCB boys sitting there. To be honest, it was quite emotional. Thank you for your kind words, Virat. It’s a really special touch, Mike, Nikhil, and everyone from the franchise who set this up. We had some incredible times as a team, and while the sun has set on Chris and me. We are still very much a part of the family and will always be.”
“So, yes, thank you for the very special touch. Faf and the guys sitting there, Virat and the guys who have known me for many years know how special things like this are to me. You all know what an incredible journey I had during the IPL, particularly with my RCB family, and how it changed my life. So it’s a huge honor to be a part of this. “I don’t have enough words to express how grateful I am for this touch,” he said before handing the stage over to Chris Gayle “He went on to say.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, it was announced that there is a plan to present mementos to the two legends at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium next year.
