The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the squads for the Women’s T20 Challenge on Monday. However, Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, and Deepti Sharma have been named Supernovas, Trailblazers, and Velocity captains, respectively. Moreover, The three teams will compete in the upcoming T20 Challenge. Which will also held at Pune’s MCA stadium from May 23 to 28.
“The best of Indian women’s cricket will be joined by stars from South Africa, England, the West Indies, and Australia. This year’s Women’s T20 Challenge will also feature a total of twelve international players ” According to the official release.
The three squads, each with 16 members, chosen by the All-India Women’s Selection Committee.
Furthermore, On May 23, the Trailblazers will face the Supernovas in the first match of the T20 Challenge.
Velocity will face off against Supernovas on May 24. Velocity will face Trailblazers on May 26.
The tournament final will take place on May 28.
