IPL 2022: LSG Captain KL Rahul Explains Why He Joined A “New Team” Ahead of the upcoming season, LSG captain KL Rahul revealed why he chose to leave PBKS and join a “new team.”

LSG captain KL Rahul will look to lead the newest franchise in the IPL to ultimate glory, and along with some season and experience players, the 29-year-old will be looking to take his side all the way this season. Having previously led the PBKS, the right-handed batter experience captaining in high-pressure situations, which is why he chose to lead the Lucknow-base franchise. KL Rahul has revealed why he decided to join a “new team” ahead of the upcoming season.

KL Rahul Reveals Why He Joined A “New Team”

“I mean, whatever little time I’ve had with the Lucknow Super Giants obviously a very new experience for me because I never sat in meetings where we discuss each and every player about how we want to set up the franchise and what we need to, you know, what our core needs to be, you know there’s so much going on including the auction, before the auction, the retention part, you know there’s so much that happen and all that was very new.”

“It’s such a fun experience, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be part of a new team, a new franchise, and build it from the ground up, and that’s what really excite me, and that’s why I made the move to a new team because I want to be a part of something like this and learn along the way, and this is something that will help me grow as a person and as a cricketer. So, yes, it’s exciting, and I’m looking forward to what the future holds for all of us “The right-handed batter went on to say more.

The IPL 2022 season will kick off on March 26 with a match between Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium.
