IPL2022: Riyan Parag Wants To Pick Ravichandran Ashwin’s Brains

IPL2022: Riyan Parag Wants To Pick Ravichandran Ashwin’s Brains. Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Riyan Parag express his delight at being purchase by the club in the Indian Premier League mega auction.

Riyan Parag, a 20-year-old Rajasthan Royals player, will play in his fourth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) when his team kicks off their season in Pune in a fortnight. The Guwahati all-rounder has already played 30 IPL matches and is eager to make the most of his fourth season in the league.

“I began my IPL career with the Royals, and I’m thrill to have been re-signed. It was nice to see that there were four teams involved in the bidding because it means I’ve been doing something right. But I was always hoping to return here. This team means so much to me because of the very family vibe, where everyone looks out for you and is very friendly and approachable “Riyan stated in an official statement.

Riyan Parag: It’s just a very positive environment that can help you develop and excel, and that’s what I intend to do

Riyan describe his domestic season thus far as “average” for the standards he’s set for himself.

“I recently played in the Ranji Trophy, and despite missing a few hundred runs, I believe I was in good form and batting well. I also got my first five-fer in bowling. So, yes, there is still a lot of room for improvement. As I’ve played less white-ball cricket in the last month or so, my focus is now on preparing for the IPL, but a few sessions of good practice should help “He stated.

When asked who he’s most excited to work with, Riyan had a simple answer: “That will undoubtedly be Ashwin. If not the best ever, he’s certainly one of the best off-spinners in the world, and I’ll definitely try to bring a red ball with me to the tournament so I can pick his brain.”

“But even with the white ball, I think if I can pick his brain on the varieties and all the mysteries, I think my white-ball bowling will be much better at the end of the season,” the all-rounder added.

The IPL 2022 season will begin on March 26 with a match between the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). On March 29, RR will play Sunrisers Hyderabad in their first match.
