Mohammad Hafeez Reacts to Lahore Qalandars Winning the PSL League Title. Hafeez scored 69 runs off 46 balls to help Lahore reach 180 for five in 20 overs before picking up two crucial wickets with his ever-dependable off spin.

Mohammad Hafeez, a veteran cricketer, won his first PSL title on Sunday, propelling Lahore Qalandars past Multan Sultans in the final. Hafeez took two wickets in four overs to help his side bowl out Multan Sultans for 138 in 19.3 overs while defending a target of 181 runs. To silence his critics, the all-rounder took to Twitter and wrote, “Tiger abhee Zinda hai.” The phrase is also taken from Salman Khan’s well-known Bollywood film Tiger Zinda Hai. Hafeez also scored 69 runs off 46 balls, assisting Lahore to a total of 180 for five in 20 overs.

The 41-year-ferocious old’s knock included nine fours and a six.

Meanwhile, Harry Brook hit a crucial unbeaten 41 off 22 balls, including two fours and three maximums.

Lahore captain Shaheen Shah Afridi led the pace attack with aplomb while defending their total, taking three wickets in four overs. In addition to Hafeez’s two-wicket haul, Zaman Khan had two dismissals in four overs.

Hafeez was also named Player of the Match for his all-round performance in the final, which Lahore won by 42 runs.
