India thrashed the visiting West Indies team 3-0 in the T20I series, led by Rohit Sharma. The Indian team won the final match at Eden Gardens by 17 runs after securing two spectacular victories. India surpassed their previous best of 80 runs against England in the final five overs of their innings at the inaugural T20 World Cup in Durban in 2007.

In addition to the top two, India has scored 77, 75, and 74 runs in the final five overs of a T20I game.

The duo’s herculean effort provided a perfect cushion for the bowlers to fall back on as they easily defended the target.

Harshal Patel took three wickets, while Deepak Chahar, Venkatesh Iyer, and Shardul Thakur each took two wickets to help India win the game and complete a 3-0 series sweep.
