In the ICC T20 Rankings, KL Rahul has risen to fourth place. In the ICC T20 rankings for batters released on Wednesday, opener KL Rahul moved up to fourth, while Virat Kohli and India’s new white ball skipper Rohit Sharma remained in 10th and 11th positions, respectively.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, the best-placed Indian on the bowling chart, was 20th after dropping a run, while pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah fell two places to 26th. There was no Indian on the list of all-rounders. India, on the other hand, has not recently competed in T20 Internationals. Left-arm spinner Akeal Hosein and fast bowler Jason Holder have achieved career-best bowling rankings after guiding the West Indies to a series-deciding 17-run victory over England in the fifth match in Bridgetown.

Hosein has risen 15 places to 18th in the latest weekly update of the men’s rankings, which takes into account performances in the series’ final three matches, following a four-for-30 haul that helped him finish with six wickets in three matches.

Holder, an all-rounder and former captain, advanced three places to 23rd with a massive 20 rating point gain after grabbing four wickets in four balls to finish with match figures of five for 27 and a tally of nine wickets in those three matches.

Another West Indian bowler who has advanced is Sheldon Cottrell (up 10 places to 31st), as have England spinners Moeen Ali (up three places to 32nd) and Liam Livingston (up 33 places to 68th)

Nicholas Pooran has advanced eight places to 18th in the batters ranking after scoring 113 runs in three matches, including a knock of 70, while Brandon King (up 25 places to 58th) and West Indies captain Kieron Pollard (up 15 places to 60th) have also advanced.

Moeen Ali, who was named Player of the Match against the West Indies in the fourth match of the series, has risen 30 places to 67th after scoring 73 runs and taking two wickets in three matches. As a result, he has surpassed Glenn Maxwell and Wanindu Hasaranga to become the third best all-rounder in the world.
