PM Modi Will Have Breakfast: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will have breakfast with BJP MPs from Uttar Pradesh today. Nearly 40 party officials are expected to attend the gathering, which comes months before the state’s assembly elections.
During the Winter Session of Parliament, the Prime Minister met with party MPs for breakfast on a regular basis. He met with Madhya Pradesh’s political leaders earlier this week.
The visit on Friday comes only days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor in Varanasi, his parliamentary seat. He also chaired a conference in Varanasi with 12 chief ministers from BJP-ruled states on good governance practices.
The ruling party will also stage a series of ‘yatras’ across the state before the end of December in a major election drive. Each of the state’s. 403 assembly seats will be covered by the six yatras. Such yatras have long been a staple of the party’s election campaigns.
In Uttar Pradesh, the BJP has formed an alliance with the Nishad Party and the Apna Dal (S).
