“With six players ruled out of the tour owing to COVID-19 and Devon Thomas’ finger injury (inflicted in the first T20I), CWI and PCB officials will meet on Thursday morning, once all members of the touring party have been tested again, to determine whether the tour can continue,” CWI added.
Sheldon Cottrell, all-rounder Roston Chase, and all-rounder Kyle Mayers, as well as a non-coaching member of the team management, all returned positive tests in Karachi on Sunday and were thrown out of the Pakistan series.
On Thursday, the West Indies and Pakistan will face off in the third T20I. After winning the first two T20Is, Pakistan has already sealed the series. From Saturday, the two teams will play three One-Day Internationals (ODIs).
