Sourav Ganguly on India’s unexpected selection for the T20 World Cup squad.

Earlier this year, BCCI president Sourav Ganguly disclosed the reason for an unexpected selection in India’s roster for the 2021 T20 World Cup.

Ravichandran Ashwin was finally selected for the 2021 T20 World Cup. After previously being considered mainly for Test squads and going in and out of Team India’s limited-over plans.

India did not perform well at the tournament. But Ashwin showed flashes of what to expect from him in the future. Recently, India’s new coach, Rahul Dravid, praised Ashwin. Ganguly went on to explain why Ashwin’s record. Particularly in Test cricket, is outstanding and difficult to “ignore.”
