Kangana Ranaut took to Instagram on Monday after getting the President’s Padma Shri award. She discussed the significance of the award in her life.
Actress Kangana Ranaut received the Padma Shri Award in New Delhi. Kangana took to Instagram after accepting the award to send a message to her fans.
Kangana Ranaut told the camera that she had already gotten numerous honors for her work as a performer, but that the Padma Shri demonstrated how the country regarded her as a ‘perfect citizen’ as well. “I am thankful.” It took me 8-10 years to achieve success when I first started my job at a young age. When I finally became successful, however, I didn’t enjoy it and instead focused on other difficulties. I avoided fairness creams, item numbers, and acting in films with well-known male stars and production companies.
“I created more enemies than money,” she confessed.
Kangana also discussed how she frequently expresses her views on social and political topics despite having numerous legal cases pending against her. “People frequently ask me what I get out of all of this. Why am I going through all of this? This isn’t your responsibility. As a result, this award is my response to them. In the video, she says, “This Padma Shri ke roop mein jo mujhe sammaan mila hai ye bahut logon ke mooh band karega (This Padma Shri will silence a lot of people).”
In addition to Kangana, musician Adnan Sami and filmmaker Ekta Kapoor received Padma Shri awards at the ceremony. Adnan spoke to ANI after receiving the Padma Shri and expressed his desire to donate the honour to his parents. “You don’t always have the words to explain yourself. I am grateful to the government. Thankful for humans; without them, nothing would be possible. This is dedicated to my father and mum. It’s not only an honor, but also a responsibility, one that I’ll do my best to fulfill “he stated
