Charith Asalanka: Sri Lanka beat the reigning champions West Indies by 20 runs in their final Super 12 encounter in Abu Dhabi on Thursday to complete their campaign on a strong note.

Sri Lanka finished the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 in style on Thursday, defeating the defending champions West Indies by 20 runs in their final Super 12 match in Abu Dhabi.

The 2014 winners defeated Shimron Hetmyer’s brave 81 not out and Nicholas Pooran‘s 46 to defend 190 at the Zyed International Stadium, finishing fourth in Group 1 with 4 points behind England, Australia, and South Africa.
