Ruben Trumpelmann‘s The Namibians crossed the finish line in the final over with 5 balls to spare, chasing a below-par 110 for victory at the Zyed International Stadium, courtesy to a key partnership between JJ Smit and David Wiese for the fifth wicket.
Smit finished the game with 32 runs and a six, while Wiese scored 16 during their 35-run partnership. Craig Williams, who batted first for the champions, also contributed 23 runs.

Namibia had restricted Scotland to 109 for 8 after deciding to field first, thanks to a magnificent bowling performance led by Ruben Trumpelmann.
