On Thursday, farmers protesting the three agricultural laws marched into the grounds of a private university in Gharuan to protest the arrival of Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.

The 200-odd demonstrators, however, were taken aback when they learned.

Therefore, On Saturday, Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh expressed amazement at the Haryana police’s “brazen aggression” and blasted Khattar for “unleashing such a savage assault on the peacefully protesting farmers,” many of whom were farmers.
