According to Indian Oil Corporation, petrol and diesel prices in the national capital have risen 35 paise to 106.89 and 95.62 per litre, respectively, following the latest hike.
Petrol is currently 35.3 percent more expensive than the price at which aircraft may buy aviation turbine fuel (ATF or jet fuel). In Delhi, ATF costs 79,020.16 per kilolitre, or about 79 per litre.
A liter of petrol costs 112.78, and a liter of diesel costs 103.63 in Mumbai. The cost of petrol in Chennai has risen to 103.92 per liter, whereas diesel costs have remained unaltered at 99.92 per liter. Agreeing to the state-run oil refiner, Mumbai has the most elevated fuel costs of the four metro cities. Since of the value-added charge, or VAT, fuel costs change by state.

Petrol and diesel prices, Oil costs have continued their upward drift due to tireless supply imperatives within the Joined together States. WTI unrefined prospects within the Joined together States climbed 20 cents, or 0.2 percent, to $82.70 a barrel. Brent unrefined prospects rose 24 cents, or 0.3%, to $84.85 a barrel.
