On Thursday, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan arrived at Mumbai‘s Arthur Road Jail to meet his son Aryan, who has been detained since October 3 in connection with a drugs case.

A challenge to the lower court’s decision has been filed before the top court.
While a huge portion of the celebrity world has shown strong support for Khan‘s family and questioned the arrest and subsequent legalities. Khan has kept mostly out of the public eye, and this is his first visit to the jail.
His wife Gauri had once waited outside the court when. Aryan‘s hearing was underway but was seen teary eyed when the court had sent her son back to the jail.
When the couple spoke to their older child over a videocall, Aryan reportedly began to cry.
