Amit Shah will do an aerial survey today in Uttarakhand after 52 people were killed in floods.

On Thursday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who arrived in. Uttarakhand around midnight, will assess the flood situation in the state.

According to news agency ANI, Shah would also conduct an aerial reconnaissance of the state’s afflicted areas.

Since Sunday, 52 people have died as a result of flooding triggered by relentless rain. Nainital was responsible for 28 of the total deaths.

On Wednesday morning, the weather in Uttarakhand improved, as the sun rose in Nainital without a drop of rain.

Because of landslide-prone zones in some areas, the Haldwani-Nainital national route is only open to light vehicles.

Amit Shah will do an aerial survey: The NDRF has deployed seventeen units across Uttarakhand.

“To date, NDRF personnel have rescued about 1,300 people stranded in Udham Singh Nagar and Nainital.” They’re also giving emergency supplies in Uttarakhand’s flood-affected areas, according to a spokeswoman.

Udham Singh Nagar has six NDRF teams, Uttarkashi and Chamoli each have two, and Dehradun, Champawat, Pithoragarh, and Haridwar each have one.

On Wednesday, as the weather improved, state government officials allowed the stranded pilgrims to travel to the Chardham pilgrimage sites of Kedarnath, Yamunotri, and Gangotri.
