Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan set a new T20I record when he pitched for his team in the T20 World Cup opener against Scotland at Al Amerat on Sunday.
With his team winning the pitch and choosing to pitch first, Shakib took the lands of Richie Berrington and Michael Leask to break Lasith Malinga’s previous record of 107 wickets and become the biggest wicket catcher at the T20 internationals.
