IPL 2021, RCB vs DC: Highlights
- Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) face Delhi Capitals (DC) in Match 56
- Both teams have already qualified for the playoffs
- Srikat Bharat and George Carton have failed to really make an impact
In their last game of the league phase, both teams have already qualified for the playoffs. With eight wins and five losses.
RCB is third in the IPL 2021 points table. DC is at the top of the table with 10 wins and three losses.
Both sides met previously in Game 22, with RCB leading and winning with one run. Villiers’ AB was the star of the game, crushing a 75-run undefeated hit with 42 balls.
Virat Kohli will try to improve his performance from the previous game and build some momentum before the playoffs. The RCB captain was only able to score five out of four in the loss to SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH).
Despite losing to SRH, Devdutt Padikkal was in good shape, scoring 41 of 52 balls. Expect a good opening partnership with Kohli against DC.
Dan Christian has not clinched at all this season and was only able to get one run before losing his window to SRH. He shone with the ball and hopes to get another chance to impress.
Srikar Bharat has no influence on his team yet and hopes to rack up some runs against DC.
AB de Villiers
Shahbaz Ahmed failed to take wickets against SRH and conceded 21 runs in four overs. He hopes to perform better with both the ball and the bat.
George Carton looks forward to another chance to impress. He could only take one wicket in two overs against SRH, but he conceded 29 runs.
