AUSW vs INDW 1ST T20 Match Prediction: Considering how Australian women have played over the last month, it’s safe to say that they weren’t at their best. Taking nothing from the Indians, the series, which was expected to be a one-sided affair, turns out to be a roller coaster ride for the hosts. You’re still ahead of the game on this tour and you want to keep it that way, but it won’t be easy.
Unlike in India, Australians will likely come out with a family unit that is, a more settled playing eleven. In the absence of Rachel Haynes, Beth Mooney will likely open with Alyssa Healy. They are followed by Meg Lanning and Elysse Perry, both known for their heroics in this format.
First, Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami are the most notable absentees from India’s T20I chart. While Mithali Raj has been in mediocre form so far and the team may not miss him very much, he will certainly miss Jhulan Goswami. In his absence, the onus falls on Meghna Singh and Pooja Vastrakar, who did a decent job in the recently completed friendly. With Harmanpreet Kaur injured, India’s drummer seems a bit inexperienced and a bit too dependent on Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma.
Australia Women To Win the Match, 1.50
India Women will miss some of their top players who have done a good job on the tour so far.
The Australians play at home and have the experience that seeps through their team and that could make a big difference in this format of play.
Indian women are overly reliant on Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma for the most grades.
AUSW vs INDW MATCH & ANALYSIS
Not many could have imagined that India Women would fight the Australians, but not only have they succeeded, but they have also managed to take the lead in recent games. It was a long tour for the women of India, but they would not have felt the same way.
The ODI and the test section of the series are now over and the focus is now on the last section of the series, which begins on October 7, 2021. The first of three T20Is will be played at the Carrara Oval, Carrara on the night of October 7. Given the outcome of the previous games, it is sure to be an exciting competition.
AUSW vs INDW PLAYING 11
With an excellent performance in the only event, if not the winner of the match, India Women is excited. However, now they have to change gears to fit the shorter version of the game, and it won’t be easy. They will also have some changes to their eleven and it will be interesting to see what the final eleven looks like and how the changes affect their form.
