Sindh takes the lead: 64 of 43 balls by Sharjeel Khan helped Sindh to 176.
A rain-soaked the North’s hopes and allowed Sindh to clinch a three-run victory in the DLS process at the T20 National Cup, held in Rawalpindi. With this victory, Sindh rose to the top of the table and won four of five games. Northern suffered its second loss, finishing third with three wins in five games.
In pursuit of Sindh’s 176 for seven, Northern got off to a good start with odds of 8.64 in power play three.
Earlier in the cloudy conditions, Northern picked up Shan Masood’s wicket. On the second ball of the inning after winning the first bowl. Both Sharjeel Khan and Khurram Manzoor (15 of 17). Helped rebound from an early wobble by establishing a 52-run position for the second wicket.
Saud Shakeel cautiously played 28 of 21, but a cameo of 13. Each from Anwar Ali and Rumman Raees at nine respectively.
Northern got off to an impressive start in the chase by scoring runs in the first over 12. But soon lost to Sarmad Hameed by five of six. Haider Ali (11 balls of 9) was the next to fall, followed by Nasir Nawaz (27 balls of 19).
