England men’s ODI squad to tour the Netherlands in June 2022:England’s tour of the Netherlands will be played from June 19-22 next year, as confirmed on Thursday (September 30). The ODI Super League portion of the tour was planned for May 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID19 pandemic.

All three games will be played at the VRA Cricket Ground in Amstelveen. The tour will take place when New Zealand is in England for a series of tests. ODI matches are played between the second and third tests.

In addition to playing in the Netherlands, England will host New Zealand and a limited series against India.

There is also the option to play the postponed Manchester Test, while South Africa will travel for a full series running until mid-September.

“The matches will form part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League and have been rescheduled after the tour had been postponed from May this year,” said a release by the ECB.

England, the 2019 world cricket winner, is at the top of the Super League. Standings with 95 points from 15 games, including nine wins, five losses, and one game in the result.

This is the first time England has faced the Netherlands in a bilateral ODI series. England had previously faced the Netherlands in ODI. At the 1996, 2003, and 2011 Cricket World Championships and won on all three occasions.

In addition to the tour of the Netherlands. England hosts three ODIs and as many T20Is for India and South Africa. There is also the option to play a single test against India after the fifth test of 2021. The series was canceled in Manchester due to fears of a Covid19 outbreak in the Indian team.
