IPL 2021: Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Chris Morris remarked on Monday that his team’s inability to win important moments in games is costing them a lot of money. Rajasthan Royals were defeated by Sunrisers Hyderabad by seven wickets.
After a seven-wicket loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad on Monday, Rajasthan Royals all-rounder Chris Morris feels his team’s failure to win crucial situations is costing them dearly.
Rajasthan‘s hopes of making the IPL playoffs have dwindled after their second consecutive loss. After failing to beat the bottom-placed SRH, they dropped their sixth match of the season.
Opening batsman Jason Roy (60 off 42) and skipper Kane Williamson (51* off 41) led SRH to an easy victory over RR, who are still in the playoff chase.
“Look, right now we’re not playing the big moments of the game,” Morris said at a postgame news conference. “When the big moments come, whether we hit or come out, I don’t think we win them.”
